Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective: 26 August 2026 · Version 1.0
This policy explains how the Banizzo platform operator identified in your order form collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains personal data for the public website and hosted platform. A merchant's storefront policy separately governs the merchant's relationship with shoppers.
Information we process
We process account and contact details, business and subscription information, staff roles, authentication and session records, support communications, service configuration, billing and provider references, and technical records such as IP address, device, browser, request, security, audit, and diagnostic events. Demo requests may include a name, business name, phone, email, and message. We do not ask merchants to send card credentials to Banizzo support.
Merchant storefront data
When Banizzo hosts a merchant store, the merchant determines why shopper, order, delivery, and customer data is collected. Banizzo processes that data on the merchant's instructions to provide the service. Shoppers should contact the merchant first about an order or privacy request; Banizzo will assist the merchant where required.
Why we use information
We use data to provide and administer accounts, authenticate users, process subscriptions, operate requested integrations, deliver and support storefronts, prevent fraud and abuse, protect tenants, monitor reliability, investigate incidents, maintain audit records, comply with law, and improve the service. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted and can be opted out of.
Sharing and international processing
Data is shared only as needed with authorised merchant staff, infrastructure and communications vendors, payment or courier providers selected by the merchant, professional advisers, and public authorities where legally required. Providers may process data in other countries; Banizzo uses contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the transfer and service. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Data is retained only while needed for an active service relationship, dispute handling, security, backup recovery, accounting, or legal obligations. Retention jobs remove expired sessions, one-time codes, abandoned checkout records, and operational records according to configured schedules. Backup copies expire through the backup lifecycle rather than immediate record deletion.
Security
Banizzo uses tenant isolation, role-based access, encrypted transport, hashed credentials, protected secrets, session rotation and revocation, audit logging, upload validation and malware scanning, backups, and monitoring. No system is risk-free; users should keep credentials private and report suspected misuse promptly.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies support authentication, security, and session continuity. Optional analytics or advertising technologies are enabled only according to applicable consent and merchant settings. Browser controls may block optional storage but can affect related features.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of personal data, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful use. We may verify identity and retain data where law, fraud prevention, or a legal claim requires it.
Children and changes
Banizzo is a business service and is not directed to children. Material policy changes will be posted with a new version and effective date and communicated where appropriate.
